Daily natural scented recipe: “Wake up” Shower Gel |
Ingredients:
- 250 shower gel
- 10 drops Basil essential oil
- 10 drops Bergamot essential oil
- 5 drops Geranium essential oil
- 4 drops Juniper essential oil
- 5 drops Rosemary essential oil
- 6 drops Petitgrain essential oil
Method:
- Carefully drip the essential oils one at a time into shower gel
- Use a stirrer to mix the essential oils with the shower gel
- Do it with care without creating too many bubbles
- Continue stirring for a few minutes then let the shower gel ‘rest’ for 10 mins
- This combination of essential oils gives a fresh smell, stimulates the senses and helps you face the day ahead
- Remember, please don’t use at night as it is counter-productive to a good night sleep!

Daily natural scented recipe: Refreshing Bathroon Mist |
This wonderful natural air mist not only make your bathroom smell nice. It will keep it clean from bacteria and viruses.
Fill a plastic-spray bottle with 240ml of distilled water, and then mix the following essential oils with 10ml of plant emulsifier. Pour the mixture into the bottle.
- 5 drops Bergamot essential oil
- 6 drops Cinnamon essential oil
- 5 drops Citronella essential oil
- 7 drops Cajeput essential oil
- 5 drops Eucalyptus essential oil
- 4 drops Lavender essential oil
- 5 drops Lemongrass essential oil
- 3 drops Thyme essential oil

Home Spa treatment recipe: Sport Bath salts for aches and pains |
- These recipes should be made a week in advance to let the essential oils soak into the bath salts
- Excellent for aching joints and any type of stiffness including sore muscles from sporting exertion, cramps, rheumatism, or achiness from flu’s or colds
- Pour a hot bath and just before it is full, sprinkle on the bath salts and mix in well
Sports bath salts
- 1 cup bath salts
- 4 drops Petitgrain
- 8 drops Marjoram
- 8 drops Rosemary

Home Spa treatment recipe: Deep Cleansing Clay Mask |
This clay mask recipe is most suitable for oily skin.
Ingredients
- 10g green clay
- 3 tablespoons distilled water/floral water
- 1 teaspoon glycerin
- 2 drops Geranium essential oil
- 1 drop Ylang ylang extra essential oil
- 1 drop Juniper essential oil
Method for making the above facial clay masks
- Combine the clay and the floral or distilled water in a bowl and mix well until a good thick paste is formed
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well
- Spread the mixture over a clean face and neck, avoid the eye area
- Relax for 15 minutes, preferably lying down
- Rinse well with warm water
- Apply floral water as toner and moisturizer

Home Spa treatment recipe: Natural Cooling Foot Scrub |
Make sure your feet are smooth and pretty to wear your favourite pair of flip-flop this summer. Try out this easy DIY recipe of foot scrub.
Ingredients:
- 20g of Green Clay
- 5ml of Tea tree Floral Water
- 2-3g of Pumice Stone
- 2 teaspoon of Aloe Vera Gel
- 1 drop of Bergamot Essential oil
- 2 drops of Grapefruit Pink Essential oil
- 2 drops of Peppermint Essential oil
Method:
- Mix green clay and pumice stone into a small mixing bowl
- Add in floral water and mix them into a paste
- Add in aloe vera gel and stir them gently
- Add in bergamot, grapefruit and peppermint essential oil
- Mix the products together and your foot scrub is ready for use
- Massage into bathed feet, applying extra pressure to the harder areas of skin such as the heels
- Massage well for at least 10 minutes, then rinse the feet and follow with a moisturizer!

- 15ml moisturizing lotion

- 2 drops of Cajeput
- 3 drops of Peppermint
- 3 drops of Lemongrass
- 15ml carrier oil
Anxiety / Headache
- 2 drops of Lavender True
- 2 drops of Peppermint
- 2 drops of Geranium
- 15ml moisturizing lotion
Migraine
- 2 drops of Basil Sweet
- 3 drops of Clary Sage
- 2 drops of Grapefruit
- 15ml moisturizing lotion
